About AJRC

Founded in 1997, the Asian Japanese Rugby Cup is a tournament with a history of over 20 years. Once a year, Japanese Rugby players based in Asia gather to create a unique tournament experience. Participating countries have increased every year, many new players have joined, and with the excitement of the Rugby World Cup held in Japan this year, we are excited to see which team will be victorious at this year’s tournament. This year’s tournament will be held in Jakarta, the first time since 2011. Jakarta is a rapidly developing city, with the completion of a rugby stadium last year after the Asian Games was held and easing of traffic conditions after the opening of the Jakarta MRT.
